PITTSBURGH - Rhode Island's Marisa Ammaturo's penalty kick with 4:40 remaining in Friday night's match found the back of the goal and was the lone goal as the Duquesne women's soccer team fell to the Rams 1-0.

After being fouled in the goal crease, Ammaturo was awarded the PK and pushed the ball past Dukes' keeper Devon Tabata on the left side.

The loss drops the Dukes to 6-10-2 overall and 2-5-1 in the Atlantic 10 loop. The regular season closes out Sunday on Senior Day against Massachusetts. Kickoff is at 1:00 p.m. Seniors Morgan Herbert, Paige Langhals, Paige Maroney, Barbie Rohm and Michelle Mooren will be honored in a pregame ceremony.
