Duquesne's women's soccer team lost to Fordham, 2-0, Friday afternoon at FU's Edwards' Parade. Duquesne falls to 5-12-1 overall, 1-8-1 in conference play. Fordham is now 7-11 on the year, 3-7 in the Atlantic 10.

Fordham opened the scoring at the 18:08 mark of the first half as Erin Safarik scored her first of the year on shot from 12 yards out off a deflection to make it 1-0. The Rams made it 2-0 in the second half as Corey Dunfey took a free kick from 40 yards out, and just got the ball inside the top right corner of the net to record her second goal of the season.

The Dukes wrap up their 2002 slate on Sunday, Nov. 3 as they travel to La Salle (8-8-1, 5-5-0 A10) for a 1:00 pm contest.
