Faccenda Nominated at 82nd Annual Dapper Dan Dinner & Sports Auction

PITTSBURGH - Former Duquesne women's soccer player Linnea Faccenda was one of the final nominees for the 82nd Annual Dapper Dan Award.
Faccenda was part a group of nominees that included the volleyball teams from Pitt and Penn State, Shatori Walker-Kimbrough and Sportswoman of the Year Brittany Howard of Robert Morris.
A four-year starter, Faccenda ranks third all-time in program history with 51 points, fifth with 19 goals and second with 17 assists. She tied a single-game school record with three assists in the Dukes victory over Dayton on Oct. 12th. Faccenda was named to the 2014 Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team, 2015 Atlantic 10 All-Tournament Team and 2016 Atlantic 10 First-Team All-Conference and NSCAA All-Mid-Atlantic Region Third-Team. A management major with a psychology minor, she has been on the Dean's List, Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll and Director of Athletics' Honor Roll.
