Ivana Kristic to Participate in Croatian National Team Preparation Camp

Incoming Duquesne women's soccer freshman Ivana Kristic has been called into training camp for the Croatian National Team. The camp is scheduled from May 31 to June 7th in Osijek, Croatia.
As part of the camp, the team will play two international friendlies against Bosnia. The first match will be in Osijek and the second in Orasje, Bosnia.
The camp will prepare the team for the Euro Qualifiers beginning September. Croatia is in Group 5 - one of the most difficult groups which includes Germany, Russia, Hungary and Turkey.
"Ivana has worked really hard with the U-17s and U-19s and has finally achieved her goal of getting an opportunity with the full team," said Duquesne head coach Al Alvine. "We are all excited for her as she takes the next step in her international career and look forward to the quality and experience she will bring to Duquesne in the fall."
Kristic, who has a plethora of international playing experience, has been the captain of the Croation U-17 team and has played in the UEFA U17 and U19 Championships.
