Deadline for Girl's Soccer Camp Extended to July 16th

PITTSBURGH – Duquesne head women’s soccer coach Tim Zundel announced today that the deadline to register for the 2009 Dukes Soccer Camp for Girls has been extended to July 16th.

Team Camp
When: Sunday-Tuesday, July 26-28
Where: Rooney Field
Time: Registration begins Sunday at 1:30 p.m. and camp ends Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
Daily schedule for commuters: TBD
Ages: 14-18 (minimum 12 players required)
Price: Commuter - $275
Overnight - $350

This camp is designed for high school or club teams to teach team techniques and tactics. This camp will challenge and teach individual development through team concepts. Each team will learn the importance of smart, hard working and competitive team play.

Individual Camp
When: Wednesday-Friday, July 29-31
Where: Rooney Field
Time: Registration begins at 11 a.m. Wednesday and camp ends Friday at 4:30 p.m.
Daily schedule for commuters: TBD
Ages: rising 9th – 12th graders
Price: Commuter - $275
Overnight - $350

This camp will focus on individual technical development and small group tactical development. This camp will have a limited number of spaces available to ensure that every player has the opportunity to work in small groups and receive proper personal attention.

Goalkeeper Training
Goalkeeper training for the individual and team camps will be under the supervision of the Duquesne University women’s soccer staff. Goalkeepers will have a technical session every morning, followed by a functional training session in the afternoon
