July 22, 2013
PITTSBURGH - Duquesne head women's soccer coach Al Alvine has announced that a one-day Fall ID Clinic will be held on Rooney Field on August 2nd.
The clinic will run from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and will cost $90. This camp is designed to give prospective-student athletes, grades 9-12, an opportunity to be trained and play with current Duquesne women's staff prior to starting the 2013 fall high school season. Campers are trained in areas of soccer technique such as shooting, dribbling, passing, receiving, defending, and heading. These technical components of the game are then utilized in game situations 11v11, 4v4, and 1v1 to put players under pressure and develop their game awareness.
