NEWPORT NEWS, VA - Junior Lauren Ott and freshman Morgan Herbert were named to the 2009 Atlantic 10 Women's Soccer All-Academic and All-Rookie Teams respectively.

Ott, who was named second-team all-conference last season, earns her first all-academic honor. The athletic training major currently had a 3.70 GPA and is a member of the Dean's List, Director of Athletics' Honor Roll and the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Herbert, who is the current A-10 rookie of the week, finished the season as the Dukes' leading scorer with 16 points (7 goals, 2 assists). She scored the game-winning goal in both of the Dukes' wins against Fordham and La Salle this past weekend.

DU finished the 2009 season with a record of 7-11-0 overall and 4-7-0 in the A-10.
