Meghan Linnelli returns to the Duquesne University swimming coaching staff for a second season in her first collegiate coaching stint. She will again assist head coach David Sheets with the women's program for the 2008-09 season.
A 2007 Notre Dame graduate, Linnelli brings a wealth of collegiate swimming success to the Dukes, joining the Duquesne staff after earning four letters at Notre Dame and being a four-time Big East qualifier. Also a three-time Big East Academic All-Star, Linnelli set career-best times in the 50, 100 and 200-yard freestyles at the 2006 Big East Championships.
During her three summers home during college, Linnelli was an assistant coach for the Canfield Swim and Tennis Club, heloging to lead the team to three undefeated seasons and championships. Following graduation, she was a counselor for the University of Notre Dame Swim Camp.
A native of Canfield, OH, Linnelli currently resides in Pittsburgh and is going to graduate school at Duquesne for elementary education.
