Megan Zarriello Named Assistant Swimming Coach

Former assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Wagner College joins Duquesne

A former assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Wagner College, Zarriello joined the Dukes in July 2017 with two years of coaching experience at the Division I level.

In her first season at Duquesne, Zarriello helped the Dukes to their first Atlantic 10 Championship in program history. DU recorded a program-best 567 points at the 2018 championship meet to go with 13 medal performances, including four gold medals. 

In her time at Wagner, Zarriello coached swimmers that have competed at the Olympic, National and NCAA Championship level.

Zarriello began her collegiate swimming career at the University of Maryland, where she concluded her freshman year as a top five performer in the 500 freestyle, 1650 freestyle and 400 individual medley. A 2015 graduate of A-10 Conference member Fordham University, Zarriello was a top finisher for the Rams.

In addition to her undergraduate degree in psychology, Zarriello earned a master’s in business administration at Wagner.
