Dukes Return From Winter Break with Competitive Loss at Liberty

Duquesne's swimming team opened up the second half of its season with a 164-98 loss at Liberty Friday evening.

Freshman Kylie Dickman managed to capture first place finishes in the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 10:45.20 and the 500 free with a mark of 5:14.58. The Dukes also claimed three second place showings with Christine Rosebaugh's time of 1:11.69 in the 100 breaststroke, Line Lovberg's 2:09.62 in the 200 butterfly and Meghan Smith's 4:36.84 in the 400 IM.

The Dukes return to action on Saturday, Jan. 12 as they travel to Mount St. Mary's for a 1:00 pm meet.
