Dukes Downed at Denison

Duquesne's women's swimming team fell at Denison Saturday afternoon, 117-88.
The Dukes took first place in three individual races and a relay led by senior Melissa Johnson who won the 200-yard IM in 2:10.96 and the 100-yard freestyle in 52.91. Sophomore Katrina Streiner captured first in the 50-yard freestyle in 24.54 and teamed with Johnson, junior Lauren Stephens and junior Sarah Schnieber to win the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:37.72.
The Red and Blue return to the water on Saturday, January 27 as they host La Salle at 1:00 pm at Towers Pool in their home finale and senior day.
