Red and Blue Finish Regular Season at Pitt

Senior Melissa Johnson won two races and set a school record in leading the Dukes to a strong showing at the four-team meet at Pitt on Saturday afternoon. It was the final warm-up before the Atlantic 10 Championships.
Johsnon broke her own school record in the 200-yard freestyle with a first place time of 1:50.72. She also won the 200 IM by over three seconds with a time of 2:07.96 and also placed second in the 100 free in 52.06.
Freshman Briana Mangis finished scond in the 100 backstroke with a Duquesne season-best time of 59.53 and freshman Lori Yeaman placed second in the 200 butterfly with a DU season-best time of 2:11.38.
The Dukes return to action on Wednesday, Feb. 20 as they compete in the four-day Atlantic 10 Championships in Buffalo, N.Y.
