Atlantic 10 Championship - Day One Preliminaries

The women's swimming team completed the first of six sessions of the Atlantic 10 Championship with the day one preliminaries including the 500-yard freestyle, 200-yard individual medley and 50-yard freestyle as well as the 200 free relay and the 400 medley relay. Freshman Liz Yager set a new school record in the 500 free, finishing eighth with a time of 5:03.97. In addition, the 200 freestyle relay team broke the school record, finishing third with a time of 1:37.22.
Tonight's action begins at 6:30 pm with the finals of the above mentioned events.
