Duquesne's swimming team wrapped up a solid 2014 Atlantic 10 Championship with a fifth place team finish after capturing third place in the final event of the championship with a school record time of 3:25.19 in the 400 free relay.

The Dukes set three school records on the day, bringing their total for the Championship to eight, five individual and three relay.

The evening opened with the 200 backstroke. Morgan Fink, who broke a school record with a time of 2:01.18 during preliminaries, finished sixth in the evening finals, followed by Catherine McAllister who placed 15th.

In the next event, the 100 freestyle, Samantha Ray took ninth place while Claire Nobles placed 13th.

Three Dukes scored in the 200 breaststroke as Miriam McGeath captured fifth, Lillian Nelson finished 15th and Laura Murphy placed 16th.

In the final individual event of the Championship for Duquesne, the Dukes secured second and third place as Meghan Smith claimed the silver medal with a school record time of 1:59.90 in the 200 butterfly and Line Lovberg was right behind with the bronze medal in 2:00.58.

The Red and Blue wrapped up the Championship with one last school record in the 400 freestyle relay as Ray, Smith, Molly O'Brien and Nobles combined for a third place time of 3:25.19.
