Red and Blue Win at Clarion, 137-100

Seven different swimmers won races as the Duquesne women's swimming team was victorious at Clarion Friday evening, 137-100. The Dukes also won one of the two relays for a total of eight wins in 11 events.
Junior Anne Hayles led off with a win in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 10:53.03. She was followed by sophomore Erin Sykes who won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:57.80, senior Katrina Streiner who won the 50-yard freestyle in 24.54 and freshman Monique Lefort who won the 100-yard butterfly in 58.88.
The meet finished up with freshman Morgan Claycomb winning the 100-yard backstroke in 1:00.62, sophomore Angela Majkut taking the 500-yard freestyle in 5:16.45 and freshman Hannah Kondrotas winning the 400-yard individual medley in 4:38.75.
The Dukes return to action on Friday, Nov. 21 as they travel to St. Peter's for a 4:00 pm meet.
