Akron Invitational - Day Three Dukes Set Three More School Records

For the second straight day, the women's swimming team toppled three school records. Falling today were the 100-yard freestyle, the 100-yard butterfly and the 400-yard freestyle relay.

Freshman Elizabeth Barba set the school standard in the 100 free in 54.04, sophomore Laura Kephart is the new record holder in the 100 butterfly with a time of 58.83 and the new 400 free relay record holders are Barba, Kephart, sophomore Deidre Rodeheaver and junior Annie Baldassari.

The Dukes return to action on Friday, Jan. 10 as they host West Virginia at 5:30 pm at Towers Pool.
