DU Swimmer Line Lovberg Competing in Norwegian Nationals

Duquesne freshman swimmer Line Lovberg (Oslo, Norway/Norges Toppidrettsgymnas) has traveled home to Norway this week to compete in the Norwegian Nationals in Drammen at Drammebsbadet, March 22-25.

She will be competing in the 50, 100 and 200 meter butterfly events as well as the 200 backstroke. In addition, she will be swimming in all of the relay events.

Day One
Line completed the day one evening finals with the following results:
2nd place 200 SCM Medley Relay
3rd place 800 SCM Free Relay
7th place 100 SCM butterfly

Day Two
Line qualified second this morning for tonight's finals in the 200 back with a PR of 2:15.9.
Third in finals....bronze medal...very solid...2:16.52.

Day Three
Line's 400 medley relay team won gold in finals tonight. She swam the butterfly leg in an impressive 1:01.2 scm. 200 fly tomorrow.

Day Four
Line finished up her national meet today with another PR. She went 2:13.55 scm in the 200 fly. Good enough for a bronze medal.
