Duquesne University freshman swimmer Monique Lefort (Cut Off, La./Vandebilt Catholic) has been named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week for the week ending Oct. 26.

Lefort won the 200-yard individual medley (2:10.24) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:28.18) events on Oct. 18 in Duquesne's 113-92 win over St. Bonaventure and also captured gold in the 200-yard individual medley (2:09.95) versus Buffalo on Oct. 24.

The Red and Blue return to action on Saturday, Nov. 1 as they travel to Bucknell for a 2:00 pm meet.
