The Duquesne women's tennis team remained undefeated on the season after victories over Cleveland State 6-1 and Toledo 5-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED
On Friday, the Dukes faced Cleveland State. The Dukes won the doubles point, with Kylie Isaacs and Julianne Herman and Laurel Shymansky and Maranda Sears winning at #1 and #3 respectively. Ally Miller and Sara Mitrovic were tied when the point was decided.

Isaacs and Herman both won in straight sets at #1 and #2 singles. Shymansky, Maddy Adams and Aishwarya Kona were winners in three sets at #3, #5 and #6.

The following day, the Dukes defeated Toledo 5-2. The Rockets stole the doubles point, but the Dukes came back winning five of the six singles matches. The Dukes have won three straight season openers. Isaacs, Herman, Shymansky and Miller all held on to win their matches in three sets. Kona won in straight sets.

STAT OF THE GAME

All three of Duquesne's wins this season have been against teams from Ohio.
