Duquesne Women Lose Tennis Match At Xavier Stay In Ohio For Two Matches Saturday

Cincinnati, Ohio - Duquesne's women's tennis team was shut out by host Xavier 7-0 Friday afternoon at XU's Mercy Fairfield Tennis Courts in the Red and Blue's first match of the "spring" season. The loss evened the Dukes record to 1-1, 0-1 in conference competition. Xavier raised it's record to 7-1 overall, 2-0 in the Atlantic 10.

The Dukes head to Dayton Saturday for a couple A-10 matches against the host Flyers and Fordham at UD's Kennedy Union Courts. The Red and Blue will first meet the Fordham Rams at 9 a.m. and then will take on the host Flyers at noon.
