#DuqWTen Remains Perfect in Conference Play After 7-0 Win Over George Mason

QUICK RECAP: The Dukes remained perfect in conference play after a 7-0 shutout victory over George Mason on Friday. Duquesne jumped ahead early by taking the doubles point. Judy Li and Alexa Miller finished first with an 8-1 win over Marijke Boers and Morgan Yang at the #2 spot. Sarah Shashura and Zuzanna Stelmaszak clinched the point after an 8-3 win at #1 over Brittany Pilkington and Ashley Delaney. Chandler Consonery and Megan Wasson were leading Mina Saygi and Olivia Lacy-Thompson 5-3 at #3 when the deciding point was won.

In singles, Li won the first set at #1 before Pinkerton retired. Miller defeated Yang 6-2, 7-6 (8-3) at #2. Stelmaszak was a 6-2, 6-3 winner at #3 over Delaney. Consonery handled Lacy-Thompson 6-3, 6-2 at #4. Spencer Caravaggio defeated Marijke Boers 6-1, 6-3 at #5 and Wasson was a 6-1, 2-6, 10-5 winner over Saygi.
