Dukes Fall to Youngstown State 5-2

Harmar, Pa. – The Duquesne women’s tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Youngstown State on Friday evening.  The Dukes fall to 5-9 on the season.

In doubles, Youngstown State took the point with only Megan O’Sullivan and Sarah Shashura winning for the Dukes at the number one spot 8-6.

Two Dukes were victorious in singles.  Alrissa Tobe won the number four singles match 3-6, 6-2, 10-6.  Alexa Miller won the number six match 6-2, 6-4.

The Dukes return to action next week on Wednesday at home against city foe Pittsburgh.  The match is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m.
