Women's Tennis Drops Second in Floridia

Duquesne suffered a 3-4 loss to Bethune Cookman in Orlando, FL Thursday afternoon. Johanna Bezjak, Alicia McNamara and Ciara McDermott took singles wins to pace the Red & Blue.
Bezjak fell 1-6 in the first set but bounced back to win 6-3 and 10-6 in the tie-breaker. McNamara won 7-5, 7-6 (7-2) and while McDermott breezed to a straight set wins of 6-0.
Sarah Shanahan and McDermott won 8-0 at third doubles, but the Dukes fell at first and second doubles as Bethune Cookman took the point.
