The Duquesne women's tennis team suffered a 1-6 loss to Atlantic 10 member George Washington Saturday evening at the Oxford Athletic Club. Senior Sarah Shanahan took the only win with a come-from-behind 3-6, 6-3 (10-5) win at fourth singles.

Freshman Andrea Sailer won her second set at third singles, but suffered a 1-6 loss in the first set and 3-6 fall in the deciding set.

The Colonials won the doubles point winning at each position.

Duquesne is back in action this Wednesday when it hosts Pitt at 1:00 pm at the Oxford Athletic Club.
