Harmar, Pa. - The Duquesne women's tennis team swept St. Bonaventure 7-0 on Friday afternoon.  The Dukes' win lifts their record to 7-9, 3-4 A-10 on the season.

In an oddity, St. Bonaventure only had five players available for the match.  So the Dukes automatically earned one point in singles and one victory in doubles.  Chandler Consonery earned wins in singles and doubles even though she didn't even play at all.

In doubles, Duquesne won both matches.  Judy Li and Alexa Miller swept the #2 match 8-0.  Megan O'Sullivan and Sarah Shashura won the #1 match 8-3.

It was the same story in singles for the Dukes.  They went undefeated and won every match in two sets.  Judy Li won the #1 6-2, 6-1, Megan O'Sullivan won #2 6-1, 6-4, and Sarah Shashura won #3 6-0, 6-2.  Alrissa Tobe won #4 6-2, 6-1 and Alexa Miller won #5 6-0, 6-0.

The Dukes return to action next week on Friday at home against Division II powerhouse California University of Pennsylvania.  The match is scheduled to start at 2:30 p.m.
