Results

Bloomsburg, Pa. - Duquesne University's women's tennis team shut out Bloomsburg, 9-0, Thursday afternoon on BU's lower campus tennis courts.

The Division II Huskies came into this contest with a 10-1 record. Duquesne is now 11-6 overall, 7-6 on their spring schedule.

All eight Duquesne players were victorious with junior Jacqueline Hughes, sophomores Johanna Bezjak and Andrea Sailer and freshman and Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week Rebecca Poole each winning their singles and doubles matches.

The Dukes remain on the road, taking on Bucknell (5-7) tomorrow, Friday, April 7, 2006 at 3:00 p.m in Lewisburg, Pa.
