Results

The Dukes women's tennis team suffered a 3-4 fall at the hands of host and Atlantic 10 member Dayton Saturday morning in Ohio.

Duquesne losted the doubles points falling in each set before Jackie Hughes, Sarah Shanahan and Alicia McNamara took singles victories.

Hughes bounced back from a 0-6 set-back to win 6-4, 6-4 at second doubles followed by a 6-1, 7-6 (7-5) win at fourth singles by Shanahan and straight-set 6-1, 6-1 wins at fifth singles by Alicia McNamara.

The loss puts the Dukes' Spring record at 4-8 on the season. Duquesne returns to action this Tuesday for a 3:00 pm match at West Virginia.
