MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - The Duquesne women's tennis team ended its 2012 regular season with a 6-0 victory over Robert Morris on Tuesday. With the win, the Dukes finish the campaign 12-8 overall heading into next week's Atlantic 10 Championship.

DUQ did not drop a set the entire match while sweeping all six singles matches. Due to weather, the double point was not played.

Vanessa Steiner picked up her 18th singles victory of the year and improved to 11-2 on the season at the #1 spot after defeating Carolina Mourao Teixeira 6-3, 6-4.

Both Megan O'Sullivan, Judy Li and Tara Majdalani were 6-1, 6-1 winners at #2, #3 and #5 singles against Clarissa Chen, Samantha Alves and Ekaterina Rudneva respectively.

Chandler Consonery made short work of Carla Limon with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at #4 singles. Elise Carter saw her first action of the year, playing at the #6 position. The freshman from South Park, Pa. won a hard-fought 6-4, 6-4 battle over Kourtney Passero.

The 12 win for Duquesne is the most since they had 13 in 2008 and marks the 10th time head coach Joe Camillo has recorded a .500-or-better season.

The seeds for the 2012 Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Championship will be released on Tuesday, April 17.
