Results: Fordham | George Washington

College Park, Maryland - The Dukes, who were seeded sixth in the Atlantic 10 Conference's 2004 Women's Tennis Championship at The Tennis Center at College Park, finished the tournament in sixth place. Last year, Duquesne came in seventh.

On Saturday, Duquesne beat Fordham (#8) by a 4-1 score and then lost to no. 5 George Washington in Sunday morning's fifth place match. The Dukes took the doubles point against Fordham while Jackie Hughes, Diana Stein and Sarah Shanahan won singles matches on Saturday.

Top-seeded Richmond claimed its second title in three seasons after defeating No. 2 Xavier.
