Women's Tennis Finish Seventh at A-10 Championship

MONROEVILLE – The Duquesne women’s tennis team, seeded seventh, finished the 2008-09 season tied for seventh place in the Atlantic 10 Championship after their 4-2 loss to #6 seed Massachusetts on Saturday afternoon.
The Dukes won the doubles point with the teams of Zena Williams and Rachel McGowan and Rebecca Poole and Samantha Noble winning their matches 8-3 and 8-1 respectively.
Noble scored the only singles point for DU, winning at the number four slot 6-1, 6-4.
#1 Richmond and #2 Temple will meet in the championship match tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.
