@DuqMTennis and @DuqWTennis Wrap Up at Carnegie Mellon

QUICK RECAP: The Duquesne men's and women's tennis team opened the season this weekend at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational. The event was schedule to being on Friday, but soon after the 2:00 p.m. start time, all of the matches were halted by the rainstorm that came through the Greater Pittsburgh area.
The event resumed on Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. A total of 63 matches were played on the six courts.
On the women's side, the Dukes went 15-9 in singles and 9-1 in doubles. Freshmen Laurel Shymansky and Lindsey Miller each picked up two wins as did Kylie Isaacs, Ally Miller, Sara Mitrovic and Megan Wasson. In doubles, the teams of Zuzanna Stelmaszak and Wasson, Herman and Isaacs, Maddy Adams and Shymansky each recorded two wins. Ally Miller and Lindsey Miller, Taylor Levinson and Mitrovic and Koralie Etienne and Aishwarya Kona recorded victories for the Dukes.
On the men's side, Dane Bendel, Chris Corrao, Jared Isaacs and Tim Kane all picked up a pair of wins in singles. The doubles team of Adam Blasinsky and Kane had the Dukes only doubles win.
