Morgantown, WV - Duquesne's women's tennis team was 13-11 in singles at this weekend's WVU Fall Invitational. Sophmores Julie Wagner (Erie, PA / General McLane) and Sarah Shanahan (Columbus, OH / Bishop Watterson) each won their bracket's consolation championship. The doubles competition was less successful as the women came away with a 2-5 record.

Junior Katie Riedinger (Plum Borough, PA/Plum) went 2-0 at number three singles this weekend. (Reidinger was subsequently named Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Player of the Week for her performance -- click here.)
