Dukes Knock Down Mercyhurst, 6-1

Pittsburgh, Pa. - Duquesne University's women's tennis team closed their fall schedule with a 6-1 victory over visiting Mercyhurst College Saturday at Oxford Athletic Club. Seniors Sarah Shanahan and Julie Wagner, sophomores Jacqueline Hughes and Alicia McNamara and freshmen Johanna Bezjak and Andrea Sailer, swept all six singles contests to clinch the win. Shanahan teamed up sophomore Ciara McDermott for Duquesne's doubles victory.
