Steiner Named A-10 Women's Tennis Co-Performer of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Atlantic 10 Conference has named Vanessa Steiner its Women's Tennis Co-Performers of the Week. Steiner, who is now 13-8 in singles and 14-5 in doubles for the season, racked up a pair of victories at #1 singles and #2 double (with partner Paula Gruber) against West Virginia and Wright State. This is Steiner's first-ever Atlantic 10 honor and first Performance of the week award since Rachel McGowan ('10) on Feb. 2, 2009.
The Dukes (8-6, 2-4 A-10), winners of six straight matches, have a pair of matches this upcoming weekend - Friday at Detroit and Saturday at Toledo.
