PITTSBURGH - Duquesne University head women's tennis coach Joe Camillo has announced the signing of Laurence Lambert to a National Letter of Intent.

Lambert comes to the Bluff from Boucherville, Québec which is a suburb of east of Montreal. The graduate of De Mortagne High School began playing tennis at age eight and started competing at age 14.

In 2010 Lambert qualified for the 2010 Rogers Junior National Championships. She also had two top ten finishes at the Étape du Circuit QC placing sixth in 2011 and seventh in 2010.

"I feel privileged to have the opportunity to be part of the team and I'm really excited about playing for Duquesne," said Lambert.

"I'm very excited to have Laurence at Duquesne," said Camillo. "She certainly has impressive playing experience and her addition to the team will make us a stronger squad."

Lambert plans on majoring in business.
