PITTSBURGH - Duquesne head tennis coach Joe Camillo has announced that Zuzanna Stelmaszak has signed a National Letter of Intent.

"We are very excited for Zuzanna to join the Duquesne women's tennis program," said Camillo. "Her experience playing at a high level will make her a perfect fit for the team."

Stelmaszak, who was in the top 10 in the Polish national rankings, is a native of Wroclaw, Poland, which is approximately 225 miles southwest of Warsaw.

In addition to being nationally ranked, Stelmaszak won a silver medal in doubles and bronze medal for mixed doubles in the Polish Championships. In singles, she won a silver medal at the All-Polish Tournament. Stelmaszak has won three regional championships in singles and doubles.

She had also been a two-time second place finisher at the All-Polish Qualification Tournament, won a silver medal for senior class teams in the Polish Championships and has been a multiple top 25 qualifier in the senior class national rankings.

Stelmaszak plans on majoring in biology/environmental sciences.
