PITTSBURGH - Joe Camillo, who has been head coach of the Duquesne University women's tennis team the last 14 seasons, has been named head coach of the men's tennis program Director of Athletics Greg Amodio announced today.

Camillo will remain head coach of the women's program.

"Joe Camillo has led women's tennis to unprecedented success for the last 14 years," said Amodio. "He brings a wealth of experience to the men's program through his strong work ethic, outstanding leadership and commitment to Duquesne athletics. I am confident he will help guide both of our tennis programs to a bright future."

"I am looking for the opportunity to coach both the men's and women's programs," said Camillo. "It is an exciting time and I know I can benefit both programs. I am looking forward to the challenges ahead and the opportunity to compete for the Atlantic 10 title."

Camillo, who was named the 2007 College Coach of the Year by the Allegheny Mountain District of the United States Tennis Association, owns a 173-130 career record and is the school's all-time winningest coach.
