Caitlin Cotter enters her fourth season with the Duquesne track & field programs. Hired in October, 2009 she acts as recruiting coordinator and her coaching responsibilities will include sprints, hurdles and multi-events.

Prior to Duquesne, Cotter served as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the California University of Pennsylvania track and field team. Seven new school records were set during her tenure at Cal U., and two student-athletes met NCAA Championship provisional qualifying standards.

During the 2007-08 academic year, Cotter served as a graduate assistant for the California University of Pennsylvania track and field team under two-time Olympic gold medalist Roger Kingdom.

Cotter attended the University of Tennessee and competed for the Lady Vols track and field team. She was a member of the 2005 National and SEC championship team. During her time at Tennessee Cotter competed in the multi-events.

Cotter, a native of Gibsonia, Pa. resides in Pittsburgh with her husband, Sean and her son Colt Christopher.
