LEWISBURG, PA -- Duquesne University's women's track and field squad came in third place among eight schools at Saturday's Bucknell Octagonal at the Bison's Gerhard Fieldhouse.

The Dukes were led by junior Carrie Hucko (Wexford, PA / North Allegheny / Miami OH) who grabbed a gold medal in the mile run with a time of 5:14.73. Sophomore Michelle Flynn (Monroeville, PA / Gateway) won the 1000 meter run with a time of 3:06.65. And junior Nicole Wiley (New Castle, DE / Padua Academy) took first place in the 200 meters with a time of 27:28.
