Women's Track Places 8th at A-10 Championship

KINGSTON, R.I. - The Duquesne women's track and field team finished eighth of 13 teams at the 2016 Atlantic 10 Women's Indoor Track Championship.

The Dukes finished with 42.5 points and won a pair of bronze medals.

Autumn Greba won bronze in the 3000m with a PR time of 9:56.34. The DMR team of Greba, Kim Watterson, Hannah Gilliam and Valerie Palermo were bronze medal winners crossing in 11:54.62.

Massachusetts was crowned champion with 123 points. Rhode Island was second with 116.5, George Mason (106), Richmond (92), VCU (89), Dayton (71), Saint Joseph's (49), Duquesne (42.5), Saint Louis (31), Davidson (26), La Salle (16), Fordham (13) and George Washington (5) rounded out the field.
