NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The 2014 Atlantic 10 Conference Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Academic All-Conference teams were announced on Monday, comprised of student-athletes who were selected based on their athletic and academic performance. To be nominated, student-athletes must have a GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for their entire academic career. The teams were selected through voting conducted by the league's Sports Information Directors.

Duquesne has a pair of student-athletes named to the 10-person team and along with Dayton, were the only schools to have two performers named to the team.

  • Shannon Abraham (3.99 GPA, Finance), who was on the gold medal winning DMR team that set school and conference record of 11:35.23 and was on the silver medal winning 4x400m team at at the 2014 A-10 Championship. Abraham is a won six A-10 medal winner.
  • Haley Pisarcik (3.94, Psychology) was also on the gold medal winning DMR team that set school and conference record of 11:35.23. Pisarcik has also won six A-10 medals.
