PRINCETON, N.J. - The 24th ECAC Outdoor Track and Field Championship is taking place at William Weaver Track and Field Stadium on the campus of Princeton University this weekend. Samantha Howard and Melissa Stewart are representing Duquesne in the 5,000 meter run and discus throw respectively.

Howard crossed 20th with a time of 18:34.18 in the 5,000 meter run.

Stewart will be participating the discus throw late Saturday afternoon.

This is the second consecutive year that Howard and Stewart have participated in the ECAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships. At the 2006 ECAC Outdoor Championships, Howard finished 17th in the 5,000 meter run and Stewart took seventh in the discus.

Stewart will be participating in the NCAA Regional Championships May 25 in Gainesville, Fla.
