Seniors Autumn Greba and Kyle Trinch have been named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) 2016-17 Track/Cross Country District 2 Academic All-District Team.
The team is voted on by the sports information directors in District 2 which consists of schools in Washington, D.C., Delaware, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Duquesne’s 2017 Female Student-Athlete of the Year, Greba is earning the honor for the second consecutive year. The senior from Huntingdon, Pa. graduated in May with a degree in English and a 3.95 GPA.
Greba holds the outdoor program record in the 5000m and was a 2016 Eastern College Athletics Association qualifier in the 10,000m. She was named to the 2015 and 2016 Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference teams, and served on the national board of directors as the undergraduate representative for Phi Kappa Phi, among other accolades.
Trinch, an accounting major from Grove City, Pa. graduated in May with a 3.89 GPA, and is also receiving the honor for the second straight season.
Trinch holds the program record in the 100m and 400m hurdles and was a 2016 NCAA East Regional qualifier. Additionally, Trinch was a member of the Dean’s List, A-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and Director of Athletics’ Honor Roll.
