Adams Competes in 2010 USA Junior Outdoor Track & Field Championships

Shot Put results
DES MOINES, Iowa - Duquesne's Ashley Adams participated in the 2010 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa this past weekend. Adams finished the event fifth in the shot put with a career-high throw of 47-8 and 11th in the discus with a distance of 152-6.
The shot put event was won by Brittany Smith of Illinois State who finished with a throw of 50-6.75. The discus was won by Michigan's Erin Pendleton who had a throw of 172-4.
