Volleyball Releases 2014 Schedule

Defending A-10 champs 27-match schedule to include Pitt, RMU, Minnesota

Gini Ullery served as the Dukes assistant volleyball coach for seven years before accepting the head coaching job at Fordham in February 2013. Ullery came to Duquesne in June 2006 after a extraordinary playing career at the University of Pittsburgh.

Ullery's volleyball coaching career started in 2002 when she served as a student-coach for the University of Pittsburgh Volleyball Summer Camp. Additionally, she has coached for the Pittsburgh Renaissance Volleyball Club for two years.

She was a four-year starter at the University of Pittsburgh and an All-Big East first team pick in 2004 and second team All-Big East in 2005. Ullery earned a spot on the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-Northeast Region team and was an AVCA Division I All-American honorable mention. Ullery led the team in kills as a junior in 2004 racking up 549 and ranked 29th nationally with 4.9 kills per game. She was second for Pittsburgh as a fifth-year senior with 378 kills and 257 digs.

She finished her career with the Panthers as their career leader in attempts (4,196), third all-time with 1,487 kills and seventh with 1,024 digs. She is one of only four players in Panthers' history to record over 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs.

Ullery, has been named to numerous all-tournament teams throughout her career.

The Tracy, California native of earned her bachelor's degree in public service with a self-designed concentration as well as a certificate in non-profit management from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005.
