Volleyball Wins Fifth Straight After 3-0 Victory Over Saint Francis

LORETTO, Pa. - The Duquesne volleyball team improved to 8-1 overall after its 3-0 victory at Saint Francis (3-4) on Tuesday night.

Sara Scheirman recorded her fifth double-double of the season with a match-high 17 kills and 11 digs while hitting .536. Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week Mary Henry had 36 assists. Arielle Love added 10 kills and hit .600.

This is the sixth shutout for the Dukes this season who improved to 26-1 all-time against the Red Flash.

After tonight's match, the Dukes will travel to Lincoln, Nebraska for the Ameritas Players Challenge. The three-day event begins on Thursday versus Kentucky. On Friday, DU plays host Nebraska and closes out the weekend versus Oklahoma on Saturday.
