Dukes Win Tournament Finale Over Radford, 3-0

Charlottesville, Va. - Duquesne University's volleyball team evened their 2004 record to 4-4 as the Dukes topped Radford, 3-0 (30-27, 30-24, 30-18), in their final game of the University of Virginia Jefferson Cup Tournament Saturday at UVA's Memorial Gym. Diana Wuebker, who was named to the All-Tournament Team, again paced the Dukes with 17 kills and 20 points. Jenni Gross tallied 12 kills while Stephanie Hopkins recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 digs. Kristin Garnett assisted on 46 plays and Ashley Macko saved 10 defensive digs. Divona Cox led the Highlanders (2-5) with 14 kills. UVA and Penn are playing the final game of this two-day event later Saturday. The Dukes continue on the road on Wednesday, September 15th when the travel to Oakland for a game with the Pittsburgh Panthers (3-2) at 7:30 p.m. in the Fitzgerald Field House. All-Tournament Team
