Dukes Top Host Bucknell, 3-1, At Invitational
Sept. 18, 2004 Lewisburg, Pa. - Duquesne's volleyball team evened their 2004 record with a 3-1 win over the host Bison Saturday in the final match of the Bucknell Invitational. Junior Diana Wuebker (St. Henry, Ohio / St. Henry) and freshman Kristin Garnett (Frankfort, Ill. / Lincoln-Way East) were named to the All-Tournament Team. This is the third straight tournament honor for Wuebker and the second for Garnett in the first three weeks of the season. Duquesne (6-6) won the first game, 30-18, and Bucknell (5-5) rebounded to win the second game, 30-19. The Dukes took the next two frames, 30-20 and 30-19, for their second win of the tournament.
