Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Duquesne volleyball returned to their winning ways Saturday afternoon with a 3-0 (30-17, 30-14, 30-27) shut out of the Siena Saints in their second match of this weekend's Villanova Wildcat Classic. Junior Sarah Morrow (Baytown, Texas / Robert E. Lee) paced the Red and Blue with 11 kills.

After handily winning the first two games 30-17 and 30-14, the Dukes found Siena much more combative in the third contest. Duquesne was able to hold off the Saints with a 30-27 win and a three-game sweep of the noon match.

Senior Jacqui Gerlach (St. Henry, Ohio / St. Henry) had nine digs and junior Sarah Brown (Glen Rock, Pa. / Susquehannock) led DU with 22 assists in two games along with fellow junior Cristy Gustas (Hermitage, Pa. / Hickory) who set up 16 teammates in the other game.

In the opening competition today, host Villanova (8-6) topped Radford 3-0 (32-30, 30-26 and 30-28). Duquesne (7-5) meets Radford (4-7) at 3:00 p.m. and 'Nova will close out the two-day event with a 5:00 p.m. match with Siena (3-7).
