Volleyball Drops First A-10 Match to GW 3-1

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Duquesne volleyball team had its first conference setback of the season after falling to George Washington 3-1 on Friday night. After winning the first set 25-21, the Colonials took the next three 25-22, 25-18, 25-16. Arielle Love led the Dukes with 12 kills. Patti Abshire had a team-best 23 digs and Mary Henry had 29 assists. GW's Lauren Whyte had an impressive double-double of a match-high 21 kills and 16 digs. The Dukes (15-6, 4-1 A-10) remain on the road for a non-conference match Saturday at West Virginia. Duquesne at George Washington
